Job Description

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Kano Office is looking for suitable candidates to fill the vacancy :      FIELD OFFICER

Main Responsibilities:

·         Assist the field Delegate-Kano Antenna in his/her role in the field and in the office

·         Develops and maintains contact with key partners/stakeholders in the northern states of Nigeria

·         Carries out field missions

Required Qualifications:

·         University degree in Social Sciences or equivalent field

·         4 years work experience in a similar field

·         Good command of written and spoken English

·         Excellent computer skills

·         Very good analytical skills

·         Knowledge of ICRC security procedures

·         Awareness of the socio-political environment

·         Good team spirit
