Position Title: Section Head, Civil and Structures
Qualification & Experience
- BSc or HND in civil and structural engineering or its equivalent with minimum of 15 years of structural engineering analysis/design on offshore platforms with engineering consultants.
- Must be highly motivated individual with leadership quality, conversant with International Codes and Standards – API, AISC & DNV.
- Must be competent user of structural analysis software – SACS, NX, Nastran, GRLWEAP, ABAQUS or ANSY software experience is an advantage.
Duties
- Lead the offshore structural design team on offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design projects.
- Advise on manpower and skill levels required to ensure smooth execution of the projects
- Assign work to the project team appropriately
- Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties as required by project
- Participate in inter-disciplines, project, client and vendor meetings among others.
All candidates must be fluent in English, dynamic, proactive, rigorous with strong ability to organise and plan ahead. They must be team player that is ready for International Assignments.
