Senior Accountant

We are a reputable Oil & Gas company that provides a full range of subsea services that include diving, ROV services, hookups, subsea installations and piping services, supply of deepwater production systems, and supply of deepwater semisubmersible drilling units. Our procurement, construction and installation services are offered primarily to customers with deepwater operations in Nigeria, West Africa.

We are currently in need of a qualified professional to occupy the above position

Job Summary

• This role ensures the successful management of the finance and accounting operations on assigned entities

Job Summary 

• Provide financial information at the defined time/periods
• Provide flexibility of data whilst maintaining integrity.
• Ensure management is supplied with information to assist in the stewardship of the Company.
• Ensure accounting staff understand the changing needs as well as strategic direction and objective of the company.
• Ensure compliance with shareholders requirements.
• Align departmental strategy with the corporate strategy, goals and objectives.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA and core accounting experience of minimum of 5yrs to 7yrs.
• A Degree in accounting
• Experience in preparing  management account, budgeting/forecasting
• Ability to write up books to final a/c level
• Appreciating of the loan raising process
• Preferably an auditor with strong audit background in one of the big audit firms
