Civil/Structural Engineer
in An Oil and Gas Company in Nigeria
Job Description
Job Functions
· Reviewing design specifications, calculations, reports, drawings etc. and interface with other engineering disciplines in a multi-task environment.
· Reviewing computer-aided civil and structural designs and analyses as prepared and reported by design team
· Knowledge of Front End Engineering and detailed design and tracking design changes
· Verification (at site) of existing facilities and existing drawings, including coordination of site of site surveys
· Participate in Risk Assessment and Constructability reviews of engineering deliverables
· Ensuring that expectations are met in terms of technical quality of the design deliverables
Qualifications
· B.Sc or higher degree in Civil Engineering
· Registered Engineer
· 10-15 years of Oil and Gas production facilitity mechanical/design experience
· Strong bias and experience in foundation design for heavy machinery
· Good working knowledge of relevant (API, ASME, ANSI, TEMA, NACE, UL, NEC, IEC, IEE, NAMUR) national and international standards and recommended practices.
· Offshore Oil and Gas production facility design experience
