Job functions
Data Intake and Transmittal
· Ensure that service requests are accompanied with sufficient information for proper data check-in
· Record ownership routing expectations, loading requirements, and data classification(s)
· Inventory individual data components and affix Data Room unique identifier
· Record entries in the tracking database(s) and supporting documentation in receipt fill
· Cross check data inventories with contract invoices and/or transmittal documents
· Assist work groups in preparing properly documented data transmittals
· Ensure Owner or Custodian approvals are obtained prior to transmittals
· Maintain transmittal and receipt acknowledgement files
· Follow-up on returned transmittal acknowledgements
Managing Log Data
· Load raw field log data into Recall in a timely manner for as-drill wells
· Load/transfer log data (in above) into Geoframe, Openworks, Geology and other applications
· Interface with members of the UIT-Data Management team on any log data request and other well data issues
· Interface with Petrophysics team to retrieve composite logs from Geoframe and load same into Recall
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science in Geology, Geophysics or Computer Science with 10+ years relevant experience (at least Second Class Lower Division)
· Experience with records and library management
· Knowledge of Upstream Geoscience and Engineering data flow
