Position: Business and systems consultant

Essential Job Functions:

·         Assist in IT project tracking and status reporting – inclusive of coordination of project meetings, meeting minutes, action items and issues tracking, project plan maintenance and other project support activities.

·         Assist with all phases of project life cycle activities and business process management deliverables inclusive of business requirements, solution design, implementation, deployment, testing, training and post implementation support.

Secondary Job Functions

• Provide support to diagnose and resolve low complexity problems / issues of a business, management or technical nature (Business).
• Perform data analysis to support internal or external project needs (Business).
• Apply current technologies (e.g. hardware, software, packaged applications, tools) with guidance from subject matter experts to support the delivery of technical solutions (Technical).
• Gain basic hands-on experience with standard company desktop tools used to accomplish daily business activities and facilitate communications (Technical).
• Contribute to the creation of appropriate work products (business, management, or technically oriented) with guidance from subject matter experts (Methodology).
• Support project management office with data collection and tracking (e.g. issues, project status, time, expenses, task sheets, deliverable documentation) (Management).
• Demonstrate professional image and presence; gains confidence of clients, management team and peers (Relationship Management).
• Is service-oriented and seeks out ways to expand role (Leverage).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience within the ICT industry and or within a ICT role in a multi-national corporate environment. Consulting experience will be a plus.
• Experience working with clients and able to self-manage work activities and deliverables.
• Experience working with business, management, and technology concepts.
• Experience with and exposure to business management and ability to understand business operating models.
